Dr Andrew Duncan

Dr Andrew Duncan grew up in Adelaide. After obtaining a Bachelor of Agricultural Science degree at Adelaide University, he moved to Perth to study Veterinary Science at Murdoch University, where he met Claire. After graduating in 1987, he moved back to Adelaide and worked in a small animal metropolitan practice for 5 years. Together with Claire, they established the Rose Park Veterinary Surgery in 1992. Andrew enjoys all aspects of veterinary work and has special interests in consulting and surgery.

Dr Claire Duncan

Dr Claire Duncan grew up in Perth and studied Veterinary Science at Murdoch University. She graduated in 1988 and moved to Adelaide the following year and worked in 2 metropolitan small animal practices for 5 years before establishing Rose Park Veterinary Surgery. She spends her time divided between the surgery and their 4 children. The household is completed with 'Oscar' the Griffon Bruxellois, 'Wilma' the Boston Terrier and 'Hamish' and 'Andy' the Burmese cats. Claire has a special interest in soft tissue surgery.

Dr Craig Toyer hails from Sydney and studied Veterinary Science at Sydney University. After graduating in 2002, he moved to Adelaide and worked for 5 years in various Adelaide metropolitan small animal practices. He joined Rose Park in 2007. Craig is married to Kylie - also a Veterinary Surgeon and they have 2 children. Their household is completed with 'Jessie' the 3 legged Terrier and 'Shadow' the cat. Craig has special interests in medicine and skin conditions.

Dr Sally Millan

Dr Sally Millan

Sally grew up in Adelaide and studied Veterinary Science at Murdoch University Western Australia. After graduating in 2000, she moved back home to Adelaide and has been working in metropolitan small animal practice since then. Her household is ruled by her Shetland Sheepdogs ‘Grace’ , ‘Maya’ , ‘Lexi’ and ‘Cayley’ and she regularly competes in agility and obedience trials with them. Sally has special interests in medicine and dentistry as well as dog behaviour and environmental enrichment.

We are excited to announce that Dr Hamish Burns joined the Rose Park Veterinary Surgery in Feb 2017. Hamish is a new graduate from the University of Adelaide’s Roseworthy Campus. He completed many of his required university small animal placements with us along with his Year 10 Work Experience, so you may have already seen him around the place. Whilst he is learning the ropes he will be working closely with Andrew and will be involved in all aspects of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery and patient care. Please join us in welcoming Hamish to the team !.

Our Nurses

Our nurses Kath, Leigh, Leah, Emily, Tegan and Nicole have all worked in the Veterinary industry for many years. As experienced Veterinary Nurses they are capable of all aspects of pet care. They are responsible for patient care and monitoring, including anaesthesia, radiology and surgery.They cover all reception duties and give advice on pet care products, merchandise and nutrition. Puppy Preschool classes are designed and run by them. Between them they have a menagerie of dogs, cats and birds. They are often seen with ‘Vinnie’ the clinic budgie on their shoulder as they carry out their daily duties.
